This is a page where Victor stores snippets of information that have yet to find their way to some final destination. Also a place for testing wiki code.

beam energy

[edit source]
  • E[MeV] = 25.9 * (GPF0[V]-0.12)[1]
  • extract 220 pC from 0.22 µF -> 1 mV droop
  • 10000 pulses in macropulse -> 10V droop
  • total charge consumed -> 2.2 µC
  • recharge at 2 mA -> 1.1 ms

random point of information

[edit source]

It's not safe to operate the FELIX gun with a bias <~30V

our lead is not hardened (usually done with antimony) so is not hard enough to cast into the chevron shape.

idrac vnc

docker run -d -p 5858:5800 -p 5959:5900 -e IDRAC_HOST=incubator-idrac.fxmnet.science.ru.nl -e IDRAC_USER=root -e IDRAC_PASSWORD=FILLME domistyle/idrac6

email address

add ip address to linux login prompt

[edit source]

On CentOS 7 and Debian 8 (and maybe other as well), just append the following line to /etc/issue

My IP address: \4

and that will resolve to the machine's IPv4 address. If you have multiple network interfaces and you want to pick one specific, you can specify it with

My IP address: \4{eth0}

done

stop sending email alerts for watched pages for a user that no longer exists

[edit source]

The solution is: set the users email address to an empty string in the wiki_user table
