Telephony

Additionally, we have a DECT system at FELIX.

Searching phone numbers (for DECT only)

All the phone numbers from HFML/FELIX are available from the 'Central Phonebook' in the ascom DECT handsets.

  1. press the left function key (Menu)
  2. press the left function key (Contacts)
  3. press the up key (to jump 'around' to the end of the list)
  4. press the left function key (Central Phonebook)
  5. search by name (or number, as you prefer)
  6. add one or more letters of a first and/or last name
  7. press the left function key (Search)
  8. wait a few seconds for your results

Call forwarding options (for DECT only)

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 Where xxxxx is the destination number, wwwww is the source number.
  2. Call forwarding active is indicated on the display (wwwww > xxxxx)
  3. 3.0 3.1 Call forwarding active is not indicated on the display.
  4. Line will appear busy, indicated on the display ( > busy).

Never use the RU code *21xxxxx for call forwarding. This method of call forwarding can only be partially cancelled (by dialing #20), but leaves a lingering setting: Upon rejection of a call, the call is forwarded to last used destination. This is very hard to undo, so just don't do it!
