Beam time planning

2021 and beyond

Beam time planning has moved to DUO in 2021. You can find the regular version or a mobile friendly version of the schedule.

pre-2021 (obsolete)

The beam time planning is currently stored in a FileMaker database on Controlroom5. This planning can be viewed in a browser at https://felixplanning.science.ru.nl (also from outside the lab). You can also jump directly into the planning starting today or this monday).

Note that the database file containing the planning has to be opened on Controlroom5, otherwise it will not show the web interface.

Exporting from Filemaker to Excel

• Export the database file as ascii with FileMaker
• Open the ascii file with Notepad++
• Press CTRL-H to open the replace dialog
• At the bottom, select "Regular expression" as search mode, then replace \x1D (the ascii group separator character) with ; (a semicolon).
• Additionally, you may wish to replace ***** with ; (in Normal search mode)
• Save the file, and import into Excel, using ; as the field delimiter.
