Introduction
[edit | edit source]The Clockdivider is used to divide Clock pulses for FELIX, FELICE and FLARE. As second feature it is able the shift these pulses in time in order to synchronize optical pulses.
Clock frequencies
[edit | edit source]The Main input is 1GHz, which can be divided down to:
200 MHz
100 MHz
50 MHz
40 MHz
33,3 MHz
25 MHz
20 MHz
16,6 MHz
Fine Shift
[edit | edit source]0-2000 ps shifting delay, with 10ps resolution
Coarse Shift
[edit | edit source]0-255 ns shifting delay
User Interface
[edit | edit source]In order to control the clockdivider a simple http web interface has been made that is running on a dedicated Arduino Mega R3 with Ethernet Shield and SD card.
clockdivider will bring you to the main page.

note: LTC and phase shifters should have 3,3V and Amplifiers should have 5V power.
SD Card
[edit | edit source]The micro SD card is formatted in FAT and contains the webpage html files, and the configurations for each clock frequency. It can be altered if removed from micro sd card socket and put in a cardreader.
