• Put the movie files on a shared drive.
• Open an SSH connection to lilo (with PuTTY for instance).
• Navigate to the folder (probably found under /vol)
• Convert movies with ffmpeg. In the following example, all files with extention .MOV in \\felixdisk\ffg1\pitches are converted into MP4 files:
• claessen@lilo5:/vol/ffg1/pitches$ for file in *.MOV; do ffmpeg -i "$file" -strict -2 "$file.mp4"; done
