Remote controlled attenuator at diagnostic station

At the end of 2020, the attenuator box at the flare diagnostic station was made to be remotely controlled. Mechanics project P002,(at the moment also a folder at ffg2), has the following specifications:

• The box has 6 different attenuator grids that dim the incoming laser light: 3 dB, 5 dB, 10 dB, 10 dB and 10 dB.
• Operation air pressure: 6 bar.
• Estimating moving mass max: 0,5 kg per grid.
• Cilindertype: DSNU-8-10-P-A (FESTO), File:Data Sheet DSNU-8-100-p.pdf
• Position sensor: SMT-8M-A-NS-24V-E-2,5-OE (FESTO), magnetic reed sensor.
