From HFML-FELIX Wiki
LabVIEW is a programming language commonly found in laboratory environments. We have two academic licenses; the codes can be found in KeePass.
Best practices at FELIX
[edit | edit source]- Currently, most of the FELIX LabVIEW software runs on version 2011 or 2020 (as of 2026, there is an ongoing transition). Some programs run on older versions (2016-2018).
- If your program uses a connection to the Database, the MySQL ODBC connectors have to be installed. Also, the LabVIEW Database Connectivity Kit will not be available for 64-bit versions before version 2019.
- We keep an archive of old LabVIEW versions at this network share \\isolator\flare-rni

- LabVIEW code signing - apply digital signature to your executable builds to stop Windows from displaying a warning on every run.
- LabVIEW MQTT - Links to the FELIX LabVIEW MQTT Library and an example program to help you get started.
