FELOCX is the server that runs the control software for the FELIX optical cavity.
FELOCX
[edit | edit source]This machine drives the FELIX optical cavity system. The installation of the standard Windows 11 and LabView2011 has been done according to Installation_instructions_for_FELIX_LabView_Servers.
Software for the Optical Cavity
[edit | edit source]The software for the Optical Cavity can be found at \\felixdisk\felix1\FFsoftware\OC_felix\OX_oc_felix_development\OC_LabVIEW_2011\OX_oc_felix\builds\Optical Cavity Systems\ This whole folder needs to be copied to the C:\ disk.
The Agilent software needs to be installed and can be found at \\felixdisk\felix1\FFsoftware\OC_felix\OX_oc_felix_development\OC_LabVIEW_2011\OX_oc_felix\OC and OX_LV2011\Agilent\N1231_windows7_8_10\Agilent_KeySight Interferometer N1231B\N1231-13612\. The license is there as well. Install the x64 version. Also, from the /Drivers folder, install the drivers for the card. This can be done from device manager -> device -> update driver -> point to the driver folder.
Load configuration
[edit | edit source]There is a file (TODO: which? where?) containing the NI MAX configuration for all the pxi cards.
- Import the configuration file
- Check the names of the two relay cards:
- SW1 has serial 0x12541F9
- SW2 has serial 0x194A6CB
- For each of the NI Motion cards:
- TODO: put here the serial numbers of the cards, and write down the name of each set with that serial number!!!!
- load the correspondingly named Configuration Set
- Initialize the card
